Your Tasks and Responsibilities
You will provide valuable support to our lab teams on a part-time basis (e.g. 16 h/week) by assisting in various lab operations to ensure smooth and safe functioning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Autoclaving of solid and liquid waste to ensure safe disposal of biological materials
- Cleaning and sterilization of laboratory glassware
- Assisting with the organization of delivered items, ensuring proper sorting and storage
- Assisting with the organization of storage areas, and overall laboratory organization
- Precise preparation of buffers, media, and laboratory consumables to ensure accurate measurements and sterile conditions
What we are looking for
You are a person who is well-organized, service-oriented, thorough, and diligent in your task completion. You are currently enrolled in a study program in the life sciences field (M.Sc.), and you have
- Hands-on experience in biological laboratories through your bachelor/master thesis, external internships, or several lab courses
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
